todays match is a decider as to who will go in semis from group A will be known after this match....

srilanka made 253 runs batting first... and for australia to qualify in semis they had to chase the score in 29.1 overs....

but australia kept on loosing wickets,... and it becaome an impossible feat for them... though with some batting from the lower order... they managed to put up a score of 233 before all their wickets fell...
